This is a WARNING to all restaurants in Saigon working with WisePass.
They have not paid me for their member scans at my restaurant this year. I have talked to a few other restaurant owners and I'm apparently not the only one.
After communicating with them on April 25th, 2019 they informed me that they are waiting for a large injection of capital that they expect to receive by the end of the month. It has now been 8 weeks since my initial request to receive payment.
After contacting them again on June 12th, 2019 I was informed that they are still waiting to receive that capital.
While attempting to get information on when I would receive payment, WisePass Country Manager, Jeremy Lemaire, directed me to contact Lam Tran (Owner of WisePass) stating, "he is the one handling such details and he could be the one able to answer you on that matter." and continues, "I am just an employee of WisePass company." I would think that the manager in charge of handling the business operations for WisePass in Vietnam and the WisePass representative who contacted my restaurant requesting a partnership with his company would be capable of answering a question as to when I would receive payment for the meals I provided to his company's members.

I was informed yesterday, June 18th, 2019 by Lam Tran (owner of Wisepass) that I would receive full payment yesterday. That did not happen.
I also have knowledge that past employees of WisePass have also not received payment for their work performed. They quit because after several months of not receiving their salary they decided they didn't want to continue working without being paid and not being told when they would receive their money.
A friend a colleague Jake Pulkrabek of Jake's BBQ also has not received payment. When he contacted them to inquire about his payment their only response was to remove his restaurant from their listing.
I have terminated my contract with WisePass due to their Breach of Contract for non-payment. I highly encourage all of you to check with your accountants to see when you last received payment for meals/services provided to their members and do the same.
Please help me spread the word to all of our hard working friends and colleagues in the Hospitality Industry here in Saigon about the fraudulent business practices of WisePass, so together we can prevent more people from being taken advantage of.
UPDATE: I received a partial payment. 68.75% of the total balance due.
